Terms of Service

Last updated 3 August 2026. These terms are maintained by Reclaimed Grace and govern your use of this website and any purchase made through it.

1Who we are

Reclaimed Grace is an antique furniture dealer trading from 211 Moorabool Street, Geelong VIC 3220, Australia. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Reclaimed Grace, and "you" means the person registering an account, bidding or purchasing.

2Accounts and phone verification

To bid or purchase you must be at least 18 years old, hold an Australian delivery or collection address for the piece, and register an account with your first name, last name, email address and mobile number. We send a one-time code by SMS and your number must be verified before an order or bid is accepted. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity carried out under your account.

3Individual pieces and listing information

Every item is second-hand, sold as a single unique piece, and described in the condition it is in. Age, wear, repairs, timber movement and patina are part of an antique and are not faults. We describe condition, provenance, dimensions and materials as accurately as we can; photographs are of the actual piece, and colour may vary between screens. Where a listing sells out or is withdrawn before your payment completes, we will cancel the order and refund you in full.

4Prices, GST and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST at 10% unless stated otherwise. A tax invoice is issued by email once payment is complete. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number. Title in a piece passes to you when we receive payment in full; risk passes on delivery or collection.

5Auctions and bidding

Bids are placed in AUD and must meet the displayed starting bid or the current highest bid plus the bid increment. Every bid is a binding offer to buy at that amount and cannot be retracted. You must have a valid card saved before bidding. A reserve may apply; if it is not met we are not obliged to sell. When the timer closes, the highest qualifying bid wins and we charge the saved card for the winning amount plus any delivery fee. If payment fails, we may cancel the sale, offer the lot to the next bidder, or relist it, and we may suspend accounts that repeatedly fail to complete.

6Delivery and collection in Australia

Delivery availability, fees and estimated timeframes are set per piece by Australian postcode zone and shown before you pay. Estimates are business days after our workshop preparation time and are not guarantees; regional Victorian, interstate and remote deliveries can take longer. Someone aged 18 or over must be present to receive the item, and access (stairs, doorways, lifts) is your responsibility. Collection from Moorabool Street is by appointment, and uncollected pieces held beyond 21 days may attract storage costs.

7Your Australian Consumer Law rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. In assessing acceptable quality, the age of the piece and the condition disclosed in the listing are taken into account. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Because each piece is unique and sold as described, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds. If a piece arrives damaged in transit, contact us within 48 hours with photos so we can arrange repair, replacement value or a refund as appropriate.

8Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the site, place bids you do not intend to honour, impersonate another person, scrape listings or images, or use our content commercially without written permission. Listing photographs and descriptions remain our property.

9Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and other than our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any claim relating to a piece is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

10Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version shown when you place an order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
